This week I traveled to Nanaimo, British Columbia to present my photos from the Philippines field school. Which were well received in no small part to my fellow traveler Drew St. Laurent setting the stage with a fantastic presentation prior to mine. He set up the bowling pins, all I had to do was knock them down.
I was fortunate enough to watch Thompson Rivers University dominate all their presentations, in grand style. A true credit to our professors and their constant mentoring.
It was fantastic to spend time with old friends, and make new ones. I have not been to the island in a very long time, and it was a beautiful way to spend a weekend.
Cheers to the entire Thompson Rivers University Geography family. You guys are timeless, and reminded me why we are doing what we are doing. Stay safe, and safe travels.
